um *has fun*
my controversial opinion is that real progress in the north won't be achieved until the world decides to consider the native irish people a white indigenous population like the sámi
the decision to call the fighting here "catholic vs protestant" is literally to make it seem like a religious disagreement rather than a fight between the native people of the land and their colonizing oppressors
the complete lack of infrastructure in primarily irish areas as well as the total suppression of the irish language should genuinely be considered a human rights abuse internationally. why isn't it?
I read Homestuck and it added value to my life then and has continued to do so.
No if's, no but's no further justifications, deflections, defenses, explanations. That's it. That's the post.
I read Homestuck and my life is richer for it.
Also! While the friends I made through the fandom have been invaluable and continue to bring me great joy and I have no idea who I would be today was it not for the fandom, I want to emphasize that even if I had sat alone in my room and reblogged the occasional upd8 meme and that was IT as far as my social ties from Homestuck went? Homestuck still would have made my life richer and more interesting.
twitter limiting the amount of tweets you get to read per day is ridiculous but if tiktok limited the amount of videos people got to see per day it would be the biggest win for mental health since ssris
one time i went up to my friend (also my coworker) and gave him hug from behind and just like held him there for a moment and our one regular client walked in and was like “huh….so are you guys like….winnie the pooh and piglet?” and i lost my fucking mind. what does that mean. i also said yes and that i was pooh.
me and this coworker are now dating and the same client client came into today and was like “sooo winnie the pooh and piglet?” again so we asked him what he meant and apparently those were the only two male fictional characters he could think of that hug
winnie the pooh heritage post
